Voice-first executive assistant
Tess manages your calendar, tasks and contacts in conversation. Ask what's on today, move a meeting, capture an action — out loud, while you keep working.
What they do
01
Ask what's on, book something new, or move a meeting. They resolve “tomorrow” and “Friday at ten” against your timezone.
“Move the pipeline review to Friday at ten.”
02
Capture an action the moment it comes up, with a priority and a due date, then close it out by voice later.
“Add a task to send Mei the Q3 numbers, high priority, due tomorrow.”
03
Keep the people around a deal to hand — role, company, email — and pull one up mid-sentence.
“What's Mei's email?”
How it works
A plain answer comes back in roughly 800 ms. When they need to look something up they say so, and keep talking while they do it.
Step 01
Your microphone streams straight to Google's Gemini Live service from the browser. Audio never passes through our servers.
Step 02
Tool calls run without blocking speech, so they can say “one moment” and mean it — then answer with the result.
Step 03
Cut them off mid-sentence the way you would a person. Playback stops and they listen.
Calendars
Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 and Tess reads and writes the calendar you already use. Changes made anywhere — your phone, Outlook, someone else's invitation — reach them within seconds.
There is no separate Teams calendar to connect. The calendar Teams shows is your Exchange Online mailbox, which is the calendar Outlook shows — one Microsoft connection covers both.
Google Calendar
calendar.events
Read and write events. Disconnect at any time — access is revoked and imported events are removed.
Microsoft 365
Calendars.ReadWrite
Read and write events. Disconnect at any time — access is revoked and imported events are removed.
Voices
Every voice has a sample you can play before choosing. The selection is pinned to your account server-side, so it applies to every session.
Security
Every record is scoped to one account by row-level security, so the database itself refuses another account's rows. Isolation never depends on application code getting a filter right.
Refresh tokens live in a table no browser session can read — reachable only by server-side code. A leaked session grants nothing on your real calendar.
Speech goes from your browser directly to Google's Gemini Live service. We keep the text transcript so you have a record; the audio itself is never received or retained.
No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, and no cookies beyond the one that keeps you signed in.
Tess is in early access and under active development. Read the privacy policy for exactly what is collected and who processes it, including a note on which Gemini tier is in use.
Early access is open to selected clients of Tech Direct Support.
